Hey guys!! Today I wanted to wear a dark lip so I went with a classic– True Brown K Lip Kit by Kylie Cosmetics. The look is super simple but I still wanted to come on and post about in case someone wanted to recreate it. My brows are Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown as alwayssss.

I primed my face with Benefit’s Porefessional Primerthen applied Too Faced’s Born This Way Foundation in Sand. Concealer is from the Bobbi Brown Palette. I love the concealers in this palette, they’re blendable and provide a beautiful, skin-like texture!

Today, I went out on a limb and set my concealer with a translucent ELF Powder that I haven’t used in years! It provided a nice matte finish, but left a little bit of a white/ghostly look on the skin, especially near the inner corner of my eyes. I set the rest of my face with a Bareminerals Matte Powder Foundation and then spritzed a few pumps of MAC Fix+ to get rid of the powder-y look, and make my skin look more dewey.

For my eyes, I used a Sigma E40 Blending brush to apply MAC Soft Brown eyeshadow into the crease and all over the lid. Then I used my NYC Liquid Liner to create a thick, dramatic wing. I applied a pair of Violet Voss lashes in the style Wispy My Name. I lined my lips with the True Brown K Lip Liner, and then applied the liquid lipstick.

Okay guys!! It’s 1:33 AM and I’m at my desk writing this lol!! Okay so let’s get right into it!

I started out priming my face with Benefit’s Porefessional Primer, just applying it to the skin with my fingers! I then used a damp Beauty Blender to apply Benefit’s Hello Oxygen Flawless foundation in Toasted Beige. Applied a corrector and concealer from the Bobbi Brown Palette. I set my face with Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in 020 Nude Beige.

For the cheeks, I bronzed with The Balm Cosmetic’s Bahama Mama Bronzer, and highlighted the cheeks with Becca Cosmetic’s Opal.

Brows are (as always!!) Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown.

Shadows used on the eyes were MAC’s Blanc Type, Soft Brown, and Espresso. Eyeliner was NYC’s Liquid Liner (not pictured).

After applying liner and some mascara to coat my natural lashes, I added a stacked pair of Violet Voss Wispy My Name lashes and KISS lashes in 614.

Lips were a combo of Maybelline Colorblur in 35 Plum Please, topped with NYX Butter Gloss in Devil’s Food Cake.

Thanks for reading guys!!!

Timeless Smokey Eyes

Hey everyone! Yesterday I did this beauty’s makeup as sort of a step 1 for her Halloween makeup! In this post, I’ll be going through the products and tools I used to achieve this look!

We began by applying Benefit’s Porefessional Primer all over the face, using a damp beauty sponge by Real Techniques. Next, I took the shade Ivory from the Bobbi Brown Palette to conceal under her eyes, and to cover any redness or blemishes. Afterwards, I applied foundation all over the face, and blended it out with the same sponge from before. I set the foundation with Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in 011 Creamy Natural.

In order to create some warmth and dimension on the face, I applied a MAC Sculpting Powder in Medium to Dark on the cheeks and forehead. We also applied Becca Cosmetic’s Opal highlight to the tops of her cheeks!

For the brows, I used the lighter side of the Dark Brown Powder Duo by Anastasia Beverly Hills, and combed through the hairs to smooth out the look.

For the eyes, I used a few shadows from the Kat Von D Shade & Light Eye Palette, and then ‘Snow’ from the Lorac Pro Mega 3 Palette on the inner corner of the eye and center of the lid. I was so surprised at how well my ELF Blending Brush did for blending out the shadows– such a great brush for a great price!

The lips are NYX Cosmetic’s Butter Gloss in Tiramisu!
